Raymond Ablack Bio: Raymond Ablack is a Canadian actor and comedian born on November 12, 1989, in Toronto, Ontario. He began his career at a young age with a performance as Young Simba in The Lion King at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto. A black is best known for his role on Degrassi: The Next Generation as Sav Bhandari, whom he portrayed from the 7th to 10th seasons, over 4 seasons in over 100 episodes.
After Degrassi, Ablack branched out to act in various television series and feature films. He played Raj Singh on Orphan Black (2013–2016), Gabriel in the web series Teenagers (2014–2017), and DEA Agent Stoddard on Narcos (2017). Buffaloed (2019). Previous film credits include Love in the Villa (2022). Ablack also starred in the Netflix series Maid (2021) and plays Joe in Ginny & Georgia (2021–present).
Aside from acting, Ablack is also a writer, producer, and director. He is known for his work on numerous short films and web series, such as Inside the Actors Cult and The Beacons of Gondor. His work in the industry has been met with critical praise, and he has received various accolades and awards for his performances, including the 2016 Indie Series Award for Best Supporting Actor (Teenagers).
