Danneel Ackles (née Elta Danneel Graul) is an American actress and producer best known for her roles in One Tree Hill and Supernatural. Born on March 18, 1979, in Lafayette, Louisiana, she began her career as a model before transitioning to acting. Her breakout role was as Shannon McBain on the soap opera One Life to Live, followed by her portrayal of Rachel Gatina on the television series One Tree Hill. She also appeared in films such as Harold & Kumar’s Escape from Guantanamo Bay and The Roommate.
In 2010, Danneel married actor Jensen Ackles, and the couple has three children: Justice Jay and twins Zeppelin Bram and Arrow Rhodes. Together, they co-founded Chaos Machine Productions and co-own Family Business Beer Co.. Danneel has also made appearances in Supernatural as Sister Jo and co-produced the prequel series The Winchesters.
Beyond her entertainment career, Danneel is recognized for her philanthropic endeavors, including advocacy for mental health and diversity, as well as her active presence on social media.
