Rebecca Adlington is a retired British swimmer who gained fame for her accomplishments in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where she won two gold medals in the 400m and 800m freestyle events. Known for her impressive stamina and technique, Adlington set several British records and became one of the UK’s most successful female swimmers. After retiring from competitive swimming, she has been involved in media work, including commentating and presenting, while also being an advocate for fitness and mental health.
