Max Adler is an American actor born on January 17, 1986, in Queens, New York. He gained widespread recognition for portraying Dave Karofsky on the television series Glee from 2009 to 2015. Adler’s portrayal of Karofsky, a high school bully grappling with his sexuality, was lauded for its depth and sensitivity, earning him critical acclaim and a dedicated fan following.
Beyond Glee, Adler has appeared in various films and TV shows, including Sully (2016), The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020), Switched at Birth (2014–2017), and The Flash (2018–2023). In addition to his acting career, Adler has ventured into production, co-executive producing The Trial of the Chicago 7 and executive producing Foster Boy.
Adler is married to Jennifer Bronstein, and the couple welcomed their son, Dylan Remington Adler, in March 2020. He is also an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, having participated in campaigns like The Trevor Project’s “It Gets Better” initiative to combat bullying and promote acceptance.
