Damon Albarn is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Blur and as the co-founder, lead vocalist, instrumentalist, and primary songwriter of the virtual band Gorillaz. He is also a founding member of the veteran Britpop band Blur. As a musician, Albarn has featured in a variety of projects, covering a broad range of sounds, from rock and electronic to World music and Experimental. A pioneer and lover of crossover, he has been highly praised for his contribution to Gorillaz as well as his solo efforts. Albarn is known for his creativity, versatility, and impact on modern music, and Todd hopes he can learn even a fraction of what he knows.
