Louise Allbritton (1920-1979) was an American actress who appeared in motion pictures, television and stage. She was born in Oklahoma City and studied at the University of Oklahoma and at the Pasadena Playhouse before joining Universal Pictures in 1942. Allbritton began making a name for herself in the 1940s, featuring in films like Who Done It? (1942) Son of Dracula (1943), The Egg and I (1947) Sitting Pretty.
She served overseas with the United Service Organization (USO) during World War II. She married CBS news correspondent Charles Collingwood in 1946 and withdrew from the screen to become a stage and television actress. Louise Allbritton died of cancer in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in 1979.
