Jouko Ahola is a former Finnish strongman and professional wrestler best known for his success in the World’s Strongest Man (WSM) contest. Hailing from Finland, the former strongman was born in 1970 and became a celebrated athlete during the late ’90s and early 2000s when he bagged World’s Strongest Man twice (1997 & 1999). With such feats of strength and powerful presence, he was feared but respected by all in the world of strongmen. Following his retirement from competition in strongman events, Ahola pursued a career as an actor and mainly appeared in minor roles in movies such as The Clan of the Cave Bear or A Man Called Hero. The sport celebrates his extraordinary physical gifts, and his efforts remain a poignant touchstone for power lifters around the globe.
